Hauthaway Nature Center – Life Cycle of Plants
April 20 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Earth Day and Arbor Day both occur in April and it’s a great time to get outdoors, whether it’s for gardening, exploring, or just a quiet, meditative walk. We’ll be learning about the life cycle of plants and will have some resources on planting local and native plants that thrive in our Coastal Pine Barrens eco-region. Our nature center will also be open for exploration.
SEMPBA’s Hauthaway Nature Center provides a space for children and families to learn about our local ecosystem in a fun and hands-on environment. We are located at 204 Long Pond Road on the Russell Mill Pond Conservation Area. Follow the long dirt driveway to the parking area and enter the Nature Center through the back of the building.
